A potluck luncheon was served at noon. A lovely shower was given Mrs. Phillip Jensen. Those present were Mes dames Harry Hubbell, Albert Thorn men, Cortland Ellis, David Tosten, Charles Holverstott, Vem Kenison, Ernest Hatcher, Ned Kay, John Roper and Jane Roper, Ray-Norris, Robert Holverstott, Phillip Jensen, Verlin Moore, Lans Leneve, Bill Earle, Paul Prince, Althea Harrah and Misses Bette Yeoman, Lorraine and Nelda Norris, Annamae Holverstott and Lorraine Kenison. Mr. and Mrs. Cal Ray left on Wed nesday of last week to attend the state trap shoot at Bend, Oregon. Carl Alley returned horn? last Sunday from the Coquille hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Cortland Ellis and family, of Fairview, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Blum and two sons, of Coquille, motored to the beach at Sunset last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Earle left last Sunday morning on a vacation trip to the Yellowstone national park. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Morey and chil dren, former residents of this com munity, have moved back to Fair view. Eugene Judd is visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Judd.
